Sava

Sava is designed for the air flow control and sound attenuation in supply and exhaust air duct systems. Sava is a perfect sound attenuator in cleaning doors, where it can simultaneously be used to control air flows in the duct. When Sava is used with terminal equipment, use of pressure reducing boxes can be generally avoided. The sound attenuation and pressure reduction abilities of exhaust valves are thereby improved decisively.

FUNCTIONING PRINCIPLE

Sava has a specific air control wing which is used to regulate the air flow in the duct. The control wing has six basic adjustment positions, other positions are available through downsizing the wing. Sava is optimally shaped and sized, which results in the lowest pressure drop level possible of the product itself.

Using Sava in both new and renovation projects means more reliable end result. The installation of ducts comes easier as the ducts do not need to be cut due to the installation of dampers and silencers. As the joints diminish, the tightness of the ducts also improves.

Sava is the best solution when you need to improve sound attenuation afterwards, for example, when growing airflows.

INSTALLATION

Sava is installed through a cleaning hatch or valve. Sava attaches to the duct by friction, but it can be locked, if needed, for example to the cleaning hatch.

Sava has a flexible product structure. If the terminal device is removed, Sava can be placed behind a 90° curve. Sava is installed in the duct with control wing side above.

Sava is mainly fabricated of polyester that fulfills the requirements of SBI test, a B class fire resistance test (B, s1, d0) according to pr EN 13823. Sava also contains slight amounts of foam plastic that is corresponding to M1 emission standard regulations.

If fire is caught polyester and foam plastic are melt and gasify. Smoke and toxicity test shows that the combustion gases do not release harmful quantities of toxic gases e.g. carbon monoxide.
